Mario's journey in music education began at the iconic Cass Technical High School in Detroit. It was here that he honed his musical talents and learned the vital lessons of discipline and consistency. Following in the footsteps of Cass Tech legends like Diana Ross, Alice Coltrane, Geri Allen, and Ron Carter, Mario discovered the transformative power of a positive arts education.

Higher Education and Beyond

For his undergraduate and graduate studies, Mario attended Norfolk State University in Norfolk, VA. Balancing his academic pursuits with his burgeoning music career, he traveled nationally and internationally, sharing his musical gifts with the world.

A Versatile Virtuoso

While the clarinet and saxophone are his primary instruments, Mario is also proficient with various brass instruments. His versatility has opened doors to perform and tour with music giants such as Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Usher, Bon Jovi, TLC, Pharrell, The Isley Brothers, and even Paul McCartney.
